When spring comes, there’s nothing we want to do more than go outside. As temperatures rise and days lengthen, reminders of renewal and rebirth are everywhere, from elaborate nests perched high in trees to the first buds emerging from shrubs.

With much of the country covered in snow and the official start of spring still more than a month and a half away, it could be a long time before home gardeners get out and start digging. But it’s never too early to start planning. I’d love to hear what you want to do when it’s time to get out there again.
